Is juicing for health is simply a fad is a question that is often asked. There are so many benefits to be gained from juicing, and if the recent explosion in sales of juicers of every sort and size are anything to go by, people are making an investment in juicing which surely can only mean that it is here to stay. It is not just individuals who are investing in juicing, and this is definitely not a fad.

Starbucks Corp is just one of the big names who are reportedly making a huge investment in the fresh juice industry with the acquisition of Evolution Fresh Inc. which is a big, established juice company. Starbucks is expected to offer fresh juice products by the end of the year 2013, in at least 8000 of its outlets.

There are a lot of health contributed to juicing, which is why it has become so popular. Celebrities have been seen prancing around with their freshly squeezed cup of juice, and this has further added to the hype about juicing for health. One of the health benefits associated with juicing is the concentrated burst of vitamins and minerals, derived directly from the juice, and how the body his better able to absorb these nutrients. Juicing can also help in reducing the risk of cancer and heart disease, as well as be of great help for those wanting to lose weight. Fresh juice is also reported to help detox the body as well as helping with maintaining great skin and I am pretty sure there are other benefits which I am forgetting to mention!
