TI officials said Beon was built by logistics experts leveraging proprietary technology and advanced machine learning algorithms to match demand to a capacity network of more than 850,000 drivers in time. real and at the right price. Collectively, the companies’ 2,500 professionals use Beon to manage more than $15 billion in logistics spend, from the first to the last mile in all modes, including drayage, truckload, less than truckload, expedited haul and package.

And they added that this new free TMS, which is aimed at small and medium-sized shippers, is now available, with a multi-modal enterprise TMS expected to be released at a later date in 2022.

With this release, TI said this new free TMS offers small and medium-sized shippers access to TI and NTG’s AI-powered technology, extensive carrier network, and expert-led services. in a free TMS and is the next app available in the Beon Shipper suite, which aims to help shippers simplify the way they source capacity and manage shipments.

Additionally, the company added that with this product’s flexible carrier integration, shippers can integrate their own carriers into the product or use TI&NTG’s network of 80,000 carriers, increasing optionality and flexibility. As for other benefits, he said shippers can take control of their operations and position themselves to scale more efficiently with easy-to-use features including instant quotes, streamlined order creation, price comparison tariffs, automated tenders, tracking tools and financial tools.

“After the launch of Beon, we are introducing new digital solutions designed to meet the needs of specific shipper groups within our portfolio of more than 10,000 customers,” said Geoff Kelley, President and COO of TI Holding Company, in a statement. “This free TMS was designed for an underserved market we specialize in, small to midsize shippers, giving them smart technology to better utilize their own carrier network while tapping into our larger network providing scale and density, with data and intelligence to make smarter, more informed decisions, at no cost.

TI Holding Company CEO Ken Beyer recently said ML that over the past few years, shippers and carriers have been faced with the decision of whether to explore new digital-only solutions or remain constrained by traditional or incomplete technology.

“Our vision was to build and acquire cutting-edge technology that (em)powers even more people, from port to porch, with the support of our experts,” he said. “When our digital transformation began two years ago, we knew we could deliver on this vision and are excited to now launch the Beon digital logistics platform.”

Asked about the key benefits of the Beon platform for shippers and carriers, Beyer explained that Beon allows shippers and carriers to simply connect to logistics networks and TI&NTG’s suite of products and services from from a single access point.

“Having a direct connection to a mode-independent network streamlines their operations and positions them to navigate the supply chain more efficiently through drayage, full truckload, LTL, expedited haul, last mile , packages and warehousing,” he said. “Shippers and carriers of all sizes and types of freight can leverage our scale and data intelligence to grow their business on a proven platform backed by our team of experts.”

Regarding its specific operation, he said that Beon simplifies access to TI&NTG’s multimodal network and services through API, web and mobile applications.

“The platform’s features and functionality have been used internally since October 2020, and we are now extending the platform externally to shippers and carriers,” he said. “Users benefit from Beon’s advanced machine-learning algorithms that improve efficiency throughout the shipping lifecycle, including automated quote and order creation, freight matching, and tendering.” . Nothing should change in the way our partners interact with us, because we are already using the platform today. But they can leverage more of our scale, density, data and intelligence directly, through new products and tools we’ll be launching in the weeks and months ahead. Some of them include a free and professional TMS for shippers and an improved web and mobile application for carriers.
